Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the cells possessing the alpha3 or alpha5 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunits and the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, with respect to tyrosine hydroxylase immunoreactive dopaminergic neurons in the rat substantia nigra.
