Neonatal outcomes after failed tracheal intubation during obstetric general anaesthesia for caesarean section: Secondary analysis of a UKOSS case-control study.

Abstract:
We performed a case-control study of failed tracheal intubation during obstetric general anaesthesia using the UK Obstetric Surveillance System (UKOSS) data collection platform, and published maternal and summary neonatal outcomes. We report here a detailed analysis of factors that might influence neonatal outcome after failed intubation.
