Clinical applications of functional magnetic resonance imaging

Abstract:

Blood oxygenation level-dependent (BOLD) functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) provides a new tool for neuroradiology. The BOLD fMRI allows functional changes to be distinguished, even in the absence of structural changes in the brain.
