A search for the decay D0 → μ+μ-
- Abstract:
- μ+μ- pairs have been observed in deep inelastic muon-nucleon scattering and their masses measured with high resolution. No significant signal was observed at the D0 mass. These data allow an upper limit of 3.4 × 10-4 (90% confidence level) to be placed on the branching ratio for the decay mode D0 → μ+μ-. © 1985.
