Overlapping synthetic peptides as vaccines

Abstract:

Several vaccine strategies aim to generate cell-mediated immunity (CMI) against microorganisms or tumors. While epitope-based vaccines offer advantages, knowledge of specific epitopes and frequency of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) alleles is required.
