Two novel Zn-MOFs: structures and characterization.

Abstract:

Two novel three-dimensional Zn-MOFs (zinc metal-organic frameworks), Zn(5)(μ(3)-OH)(BTC)(3)(Phen)(4)·5H(2)O (denoted as HUT-11) and Zn(4)(μ(4)-O)(BTC)(2)(Phen)(2)·4H(2)O (denoted as HUT-12), have been synthesized by metal-ligand-directed assembly under hydrothermal conditions. Here, BTC and Phen are denoted as 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate and phenanthroline.
