The identification of surface proteins of Burkholderia pseudomallei.

Abstract:

Burkholderia pseudomallei, the causative agent of the disease melioidosis is a human pathogen endemic in Northern Australia and South-East Asia. At present there is no available vaccine or effective treatment for this disease.
