This paper presents experimental results of using spatial and waveform diversity schemes applied to ultra wideband (UWB) short-range radars. Spatial diversity provides multiple views of the target, enhancing the content of information received. The use of waveform diversity scheme is compared with spatial diversity by transmitting different UWB signals from different antennas.
