Acupuncture versus sham acupuncture for chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain.
BACKGROUND: Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS) afflicts 2%-10% of adult men. Available therapies offer little or no proven benefit.
