BACKGROUND: Diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular oedema are more prevalent in patients with coexistent obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). OBJECTIVES: We assessed if treatment of OSA with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) might improve visual acuity (VA).
