USE OF AN ADJUSTABLE GAS-DISCHARGE CELL IN STUDYING WEAK SPECTRAL EMISSIONS

Abstract:: A gas discharge cell suitable for emission spectroscopy is described. Features of the cell are variability of electrode gap, and gas pressure during operation, cooled exchangeable electrode tips, and continuous gas flow to flush impurities from the cell.
