Efficacy and safety of oral weekly ibandronate in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Abstract:
Adherence to oral daily bisphosphonate regimens in postmenopausal osteoporosis is currently suboptimal. Less frequent dosing regimens are likely to improve patient adherence and thus, potentially, patient outcomes.
