Abstract:

Solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence is a weak electromagnetic signal emitted in the red and far-red spectral regions by vegetation chlorophyll under excitation by solar radiation. Chlorophyll fluorescence has been demonstrated to be a close proxy to vegetation physiological functioning.
