The effects of topology on the structural, dynamic and mechanical properties of network-forming materials.

The effects of network topology on the static structural, mechanical and dynamic properties of MX(2) network-forming liquids (with tetrahedral short-range order) are discussed. The network topology is controlled via a single model parameter (the anion polarizability) which effectively constrains the inter-tetrahedral linkages in a physically transparent manner.
