Hydrophobic interactions in proteins

Abstract:

This work is concerned with an investigation of the hydrophobic interactions that are involved in the equilibria of proteins with non-polar surfaces. The strength of hydrogen bonds, as well as salt linkages, will increase in a non-aqueous environment so they have also been considered when studying these equilibria.
