Existence of global weak solutions to a hybrid Vlasov-MHD model for magnetized plasmas

Abstract:

We prove the global-in-time existence of large-data finite-energy weak solutions to an incompressible hybrid Vlasov-magnetohydrodynamic model in three space dimensions.
