Abstract:

This research, which took place in a British International School, investigates the teaching of English in Years 5-8. The purpose of the research was to help to create favourable preconditions for the development of a bespoke curriculum for Years 5 - 8 through increased professional collaboration between key stage 2 and key stage 3 teachers.
