Block-diagonal solutions to Lyapunov inequalities and generalisations of diagonal dominance

Abstract:

Diagonally dominant matrices have many applications in systems and control theory. Linear dynamical systems with scaled diagonally dominant drift matrices, which include stable positive systems, allow for scalable stability analysis.
