Oral corticosteroid-dependent asthma: current knowledge and future needs

Abstract:

Purpose of review To discuss the current use of oral corticosteroids (OCS) as a chronic treatment in patients with severe asthma and as a rescue treatment for patients presenting with acute exacerbations.
