Associations of childhood and adult obesity with left ventricular structure and function.

Abstract:

Background

Overweight and obesity are associated with left ventricular (LV) dysfunction. We sought whether echocardiographic evidence of abnormal adult cardiac structure and function was related to childhood or adult adiposity.
